Doverodde Book Arts Festival IV & Symposium 2012 inklusiv Udkant - International Book Arts udstilling sluttede 5. august, 2012
Publikums stemme 2012 gik til Inger Mønster Marker, DK med værket: "På kanten". The public chose 'On edge' by Inger Mønster Marker, DK as their favourite piece in the exhibition: 'On the margins'.
Udstillingen "Udkant" rummede 73 internationale værker indsendt af individuelle kunstnere og kunstner grupper. I alt var 91 kunstnere involveret fra Danmark, Norge, Sverige, Tyskland, Frankrig, Holland, Storbritannien, Slovakiet, Australien, USA, Canada, Brasilien og Singapore. Årets tema var: Udkant (på engelsk: On the margins) Vi vil gerne takke de mange kunstnere for deres deltagelse i årets udstilling med deres fantastiske værker. Tak!

Som noget helt nyt, havde vi i år arrangeret for engelske Nancy Campbell at være "writer-in-residence" i en måned ledende op til Festivalen, og som et resultat af dette, har hun udgivet bogen: "Doverodde" med billeder og poesi fra hendes ophold. Bogen kan købes på Limfjordscentret eller online via blurb.com

Doverodde Book Arts Festival IV & Symposium 2012 including On the margins - International Book Arts exhibition ended on August 5th, 2012

The exhibition 'On the margins' contained 73 international works sent by individual artists and artist groups. All together 91 artists were involved from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, France, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Slovakia, Australia, USA, Canada, Brazil and Singapore. The theme this year was: On the margins (in Danish: Udkant) We would like to thank the many artists for their participation in this years exhibition with their fantastic work. Thank you!

As a new initiative this year we had arranged for UK book artist Nancy Campbell to be writer-in-residence for a month leading up to the Festival. As a result of this she has published the book: 'Doverodde' with images and prose from her stay. The book can by purchased at the Limfjordscentret or online via blurb.com.
The 2012 catalogue can be purchased at the Limfjordscentret or by sending a mail to nordicbookarts@gmail.com (We only do bank transfers payments). It can also be viewed online here.
The next Doverodde Book Arts Festival will take place in 2014 – further information will be published in due course.
